Born in Chamonix.

The initial idea comes from Patrick Vallençant, extreme skier, precursor of freeride. The high-tech materials, the rigor of the construction and daring style and colors are the brand’s DNA. 

With new technical concepts, continuous innovation in materials and styles, Degré7 offers all demanding sports a range of clothing designed for extreme conditions.

 

1982

Degré7 is born in 1982 in Chamonix.

1989

Patrick Vallençant, founder of the brand dies from a climbing accident, at the falaise de la Beaume Rouge in the Cévennes (France).

1999-2000

Degré7 launch the kid's collection, called Degré7 Kids.

2000-2001

Degré7 invents the WZI (Water Zip In) hood system, which change the way the retractable hood is fixed on the jacket.

2003

Showroom Opening in Annecy-le-vieux (France).

2005-2006

Degré7 is the first brand to launch the "3 in 1 seamless".

2007-2008

Seamless baselayers.

2008-2009

Degré7 launches the first jacket using nanotechnology, sing a new fabric called "Fine-Tex".

2008-2012

The National Syndicate for French Ski Instructors (Syndicat National des Moniteurs du Ski Français) sign a partnership with the brand to equip the ski instructors from ESF (Ecole de Ski Français - French Ski School). This partnership last 4 years.

2010

Degré7 becomes the official supplier of the French skicross team.

2016

Moving the headquarters to Albertville (France).

2017

Changing the logo, using the look of the first Degré7 logo.
